Valeda – Rekindle WAV
5,00 €
Canadian producer and singer-songwriter Valeda lands on Soul Feeder with her highly anticipated debut album, “Rekindle”. This evocative collection of songs, crafted in pieces over several years, is a glimpse into the artist’s journey of emotional processing, reconnection to oneself, and rebirth. The heart of the album lies in its exploration of a space where Valeda could access unspoken, intangible emotions, where fleeting thoughts became real through the process of making the music. These songs emerged before Valeda could fully grasp or articulate what she was feeling, offering a way to process the complexity of what lingered just beyond reach.
Reflecting on the creation of the album, Valeda shares: “During the time that this music was made, I was often ungrounded, untethered from what made me feel like me. In writing these songs, I was holding on to a thread that reached deep inside me, to a place that I felt was slipping away, to a part of me I knew would always be there but that I was losing sight of.” Deeply introspective, “Rekindle” captures the struggle and triumph of holding on to one’s true self. Through rich, immersive soundscapes, it offers listeners a window into secret, intimate spaces—where something profound lies in wait, ready to be reborn and live a thousand lives.
